Guided Math and Math Stations

Guided Math and Math Stations

Hi Friends…. How many times have you put out Math Stations or Centers and your students constantly come up to you with question after question, even after you explained the directions?? Yep…I know the answer is A LOT! There is a solution to this, though. It’s all about CONSISTENCY and REVIEW! ALL of my Math Stations are similar! The content is different and the learning targets are different, but the process is the SAME…CONSISTENCY!

  1. Love the envelopes from the dollar store. I'll have to pay them a visit to see if they have any. We run our math work stations in a similar format, but have a ton of technology that I utilize during our station time.

  2. I absolutely love this! Thank you for sharing! Did you find your math journal prompts on TpT? Are they yours or did you find them through another seller? Would love to get my hands on those. 🙂 Thanks again!

  3. I am just DYING over your organization! Love the anchor chart and the little math notebooks… everything! Thanks for sharing such fab ideas 🙂

  4. This is exactly what I have been searching for. Thank you so much for sharing! Can you possibly tell me where I can purchase the black math station labels in your pictures?

  5. Great organization Anna! I started math groups this year and it has worked so well to keep my kids engaged. I would love to know more about what you do with your advanced students. This is where I feel like I fall short. I want to push them a bit more, but not overwhelm them! Thanks so much for sharing!

  7. I love your math center organization. I love the math prompts. Can you tell me where to find where your station lables and tracking sheet are located along with the math prompts. I really want toget this all taken care of in my room. Thanks for helping me out!

  8. I am also looking for a link for the anchor chart for Math Centers. I use the ones you made for Daily 5 in reading, and I LOVE them. I would love to have the math poster to share as well. Thank you!

  9. Hi,
I LOVE this idea! I am actually starting to get it ready for my classroom. I was wondering where you have/found all the ideas for the centers in the folders. I am trying to gather ideas to start getting them printed and laminated. =o)
    Thanks so much!

  10. How did your husband cut the journals? I love the ideas you've presented here! Thank you for sharing. …very inspirational….you make it look so easy!

  11. Hi Anna, amazing post! I hope to incorporate math stations into my Kindergarten classroom. Where did you find the clear tub that holds all of your clear envelopes? I have been looking for something like that. Thanks for all your help!

  12. Hi! I’m enjoying learning about your Guided Math units. I have a question about your Spin-It math stations. How many stations are there per unit? Your picture of the rolling drawers shows 20, but then I’ve seen that within each unit, there is only a maximum of 10 activities. Where do the other 10+ stations come from?
    Thanks!
